Belize is bordered on the north by Mexico, on the west and south by Guatemala, and on the east by the Caribbean Sea.

The Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley Marine Reserve is located approximately 4 miles southeast of San Pedro Town near the island of Ambergris Caye.
